Suicide Awareness – A story of hope for our community

Sheryl and her husband lost their son in August of 2016 to suicide. While processing through their grief, they started a movement called Our City Cares. You may have noticed the signs of hope posted around our community. Don’t Give Up. You Are Not Alone. Your Life Matters. Your Mistakes Don’t Define You. There is Hope. Comparison is the thief of Joy. There are also handouts with crisis hotline information and support locations at the schools for students in need.
