What a delight it was to sit down with chef Peter Rudolph of the new spot Hey Jack, in Camas Washington. Just listening to what this restaurant has to offer had me craving everything. Peter and I also went out to roam the Camas Farmer’s market and talked about how he creates his dishes from the fresh and local food he acquires that day. Helen Baller Elementary Assembly about community!
I had the wonderful opportunity of interviewing Helen Baller teachers about what they love about their school community. I put the interviews together and got to present it at their end of year assembly. I had the wonderful opportunity to visit Arai Nursery in Camas, Washington to interview Val Mouser and Mike Arai. Val coordinates all of the vendors at the Camas Plant and Garden Fair while Mike grows the most beautiful flowers at his nursery that he sells at the fair. Building Community at Grass Valley Elementary
Last spring I had the wonderful opportunity to visit Grass Valley Elementary and talk to the students about the teachers in their community and what THEY can do in their community to make it better, brighter and stronger. Camas Education Foundation Auction 2017
