Denis Hayes-coordinator of the first Earth Day-Part 1

I journeyed north to Seattle in January to meet with Denis Hayes, the coordinator of the first Earth Day. He is now President of the Bullitt Foundation. Denis grew up in Camas, WA and I wanted to talk to Denis about his experience coordinating that first Earth Day back in 1970. How did it happen? What did he learn? How did this opportunity present itself? Listen in as Denis shares his story and how you need to grab the brass ring, when the ring is there. I hope this interview inspires you to take chances, look outside the box and think of what YOU can do to make a difference somewhere in the world. This is part 1 of a 6 part series.

SRO Tim Fellows with the Camas School District

Had a great time chatting with Tim Fellows who has spent the last 5 years as a School Resource Officer for the Camas School District. He sees first hand how wonderful our students and staff are in our district, and also where we need to be involved and aware to help our students that are struggling. Please tune in and hear about Tim’s time with the schools and his advice for us as parents. Please like and share the good news to our community! xo
